The Club, which welcomes children, adults and those with special needs, caters for both recreational and competitive performers. Our classes are kept small and we always emphasise safety. We work to high standards and strive to ensure that each person reaches their full potential.
The Club works to a syllabus of proficiency awards.
Trampolining is an exhilarating sport, toning muscles, developing strength, confidence, co-ordination and courage as well as heart and lung fitness.
Properly taught skills will give children a head start in their schools’ sport and physical education programmes because many skills and physical aptitudes developed on the trampoline transfer easily and beneficially to many other sports; especially those that require strength and highly tuned co-ordination. It also has the invaluable social advantage of enabling children to play and integrate with one another in a disciplined but ‘fun’ atmosphere of learning. Adults, especially, benefit from this sport; it tones the body. 10 minutes on a trampoline is better than half an hour in the gym!
Our qualified and experienced coaches have taught to National and International standard.
The Club has the knowledge and experience to teach from the most basic to the most advanced skills (right up to multiple twisting; multiple summersaults) with correct and precise style and technique.
Our competitive team members are consistently among the best in their grades in the London Division of the British Gymnastic Trampoline and Nationals.
Fees are £7.00 per session, payable on a four weekly cycle in advance; you can take part in as many sessions as you wish. If you are absent at any time, then that time can be made up without charge at one of our special hours set aside for the purpose. This ‘making up time’ does not apply to competitive team members. There is a £48.00 per annum membership fee payable on 1st October. This fee includes compulsory membership of the governing body, British Gymnastics, for insurance purposes.
If you show promise and commitment, you will be invited to join the competitive team, which requires a minimum of four hours training a week at a considerably discounted rate.
There is a reduced rate for family members with two children at £65.00 and three children at £95.00 per annum.
If joining at any time between 1st October and 30th April the full membership is still payable but, after 30th April only £25.00 membership is payable but followed by the full £48.00 the following October. Family members after 30th April will be £40.00 and £55.00 respectively.
If you do not become a member then you will not be allowed to jump, because the British Gymnastics Association (also known as BAGA) will not allow this. If you are already a member of British Gymnastics Association you do not have to join again through us and the BAGA element (currently £25.00) will be deducted from the £48.00, but evidence will required of existing membership.
Classes are small and contain the optimum number to get the right amount of rest between jumps, because continuous jumping on a trampoline is exhausting work. It should also be realised that trampolining is a demanding sport both physically and mentally and like other such sports is not immune from inherent risk and hazards of possible physical injury.
When you join us, we promise you that you will enjoy yourself, make friends and keep fit.
